Winter Futsal Classic Tournament Rules - 2024

PRE-GAME CHECK IN

  • Pre-game check in procedures will begin 30 minutes prior to the first match.

  • The team must present:

    • TWO (2) Team Rosters

    • Birth Certificates or Government Issued Identification

    • SIGNED ‘Waiver and Release of Liability’ document for each player listed on team roster

  • Players not certified by the tournament staff will not be allowed to participate.

 

PRELIMINARY GAMES

  • Duration: One Twenty Six Minute Half with Running Clock

  • No Time Outs

  • Fouls will be counted

  • After the Fifth (5th) Foul Second Penalty Kick will be allowed to the opposing team.

  • Only Referee Has the Official Time and can Stop the Game as deemed necessary.

 

FINAL – CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES

  • Duration: Two (2) Twenty Minute Halves with Running Clock

  • One Time Out Per Team Per Half. Each Time Out Duration is One Minute

  • Stop Clock will be used on the Last TWO (2) Minutes of the Game

  • Fouls will be counted

  • After the Fifth (5th) Foul Second Penalty Kick will be allowed to the opposing team.

  • In case of a Tie During Regulation Time, there will be a one Five (5) Minute Overtime Period.

  • No Golden Goal! Running Clock! No Time Outs During the Five (5) Minute Extra Period Allowed and Fouls will be carried over.

  • Stop Clock Will be used in overtime during the last One (1) minute of the game.

  • If Game is still Tied, Penalty Kicks will be taken according to FIFA Rules.

  • FIFA LAWS OF THE GAME WILL BE APPLIED

 

HEADING

  • In Compliance with U.S. Soccer, No Player Under 12 and Below are allowed to head the ball.

  • In the event that a Under 12 and Below Player Heads the ball an automatic indirect kick will be given to the opposing team.

  • If said heading took place inside the penalty box, the indirect kick will take place on the line of the penalty box closer to where the heading took place.

  • Quarter-Finals:

    • 2nd Place Group A vs 3rd Place Group B (the winner advances)

    • 2nd Place Group B vs 3rd Place Group A (the winner advances)

  • Semi-Finals:

    • 1st Place Group A vs Winner of 2A vs 3B (the winner advances)

    • 1st Place Group B vs Winner of 2B vs 3A (the winner advances)

  • Final:

    • Winners of Semi-Finals

GIRLS U11/U12

  • Division of Three Teams

  • Semi-Finals: 2nd Place vs 3rd Place

  • Finals: 1st Place vs Winner of Semi-Finals

BOYS U13

  • Divisions of Three Groups with Three Teams Each

  • Qualifying Round (based on rankings)

    • 8th Place vs 9th Place (the winner advances)

  • Quarter-Finals:

    • 1st Place vs (the winner of 8th vs 9th place)

    • 2nd Place vs 7th Place

    • 3rd Place vs 4th Place

    • 5th Place vs 6th Place

  • Semi-Finals:

    • Winner of 1 vs 8 – vs – Winner 5 vs 6

    • Winner of 2 vs 7 – vs – Winner 3 vs 4

  • Final:

    • Winners of Semi-Finals

GIRLS U13

  • Division of Three Teams

  • Semi-Finals: 2nd Place vs 3rd Place
